This archipelago is located west of the Greek mainland. These islands are much greener and less densely populated than the other Greek islands. They have hospitable people, rich nature, green mountains, diverse landscapes and wonderful long (sand) beaches with a clear blue sea. With the colors of the sea and sand you sometimes feel like being in the Caribbean.

These islands have long been ruled by the Venetian Republic, which is still visible in the architecture of some islands. The Ionian kitchen has some Venetian / Italian influences. However, these islands have always retained their Greek character.
