Lefkada is an island in the Ionian Sea with a surface area of approximately 303 km2. It is connected by bridge to the mainland, so you don't have tp take the boat to explore parts of the mainland. Lefkada is green and the most mountainous island of the Ionian. The island's coast is rugged, has many bays and on the west side of the island one has marvelous views from the high cliffs that rise steeply from the water. These bays on the westside have beautiful white sandy beaches with a crystal blue sea. You do not have to travel all the way to the Caribbean for this kind of nature. This nature, cultural traditions, hospitable people and delicious food makes Lefkada a fine island for holidays.
Porto Katsiki is a beautiful white sand and pebble beach with clear blue waters and at the back chalk cliffs up to 100 meters high.
Glyki has a gorge filled with water where you can wade through. It's a bit further away on the mainland.
