Paxos is one of the Ionian Islands with a surface area of approximately 25 km2. It is a green island with lots of olive and pine trees. Paxos has a white rocky coastline with sea caves which beautifully sets off against the turquoise waters along the coast. Paxos is a quiet island, a bit up-market and a little more expensive than most Greek islands.
Be sure to visit the traditional villages and the quiet white pebble beaches on the island. It's recommended to rent a boat (no license required) to explore the various beaches and perhaps sail to Anti Paxos.
