Santorini is high on the to-do list of Greek island hoppers and is formed by several volcanoes. Santorini is also known for its beautiful sunsets. During sunset one should pay a visit to the village of Oia, and applaud them when the sun sets. Due to the volcanic origin of the island, the sandy beaches are usually black in color.

The main town of Fira is a maze of narrow streets where one finds many souvenir shops. Santorini can, certainly in high season, be very busy, but is worth to have seen it once.

In Oia one makes the most beautiful pictures of the island and sees the beautiful sunset. It is very busy in the evening.

In Fira you will find all necessary souvenirs when walking through the maze of white streets.
