Symi has a surface area of 52 km2, it is one of the most picturesque islands of the Dodecanese. The beautiful bays formed by steep mountains makes Symi a busy daydestination for tourists from Rhodes. The picturesque village has a traditional architecture with neoclassical houses dating from the early 20th century.
