Sunny holiday where ancient Greek hospitality was still very much alive

We had a wonderful holiday in the Greek islands. Everything was well organised. Congratulations for this. When our last boat ticket turned out not to be in the envelope with the other papers, you and the contact person in Greece were immediately available and the problem was quickly resolved.
The accommodation was good. We don't like hotels ourselves, so we would make a different choice next time. Astron Hotel: very friendly staff, small but clean rooms. We found the Plaza Hotel on Kalymnos less good, with distant and uninvolved staff and a cold atmosphere, but the room was clean and well located. No bottle of water in the fridge on arrival, no possibility of making a cup of tea or coffee in the room, outdoor bar closed at 6 p.m. and no more drinks to take to the pool from the indoor bar.
Nothing but praise for the other accommodation.

We loved the Rafaela apartments on Patmos. Saraya (Leros) and Katerina and Evis (Kos) were also very good.
In short, it was a wonderful, sunny holiday where ancient Greek hospitality was still very much alive. We have been coming to Greece since 1973 and know the country well. What surprised us positively was the good organisation of the ferries and fast hydrofoils, as we never knew that the Greeks could sail on time according to the timetable :).
