We had a wonderful holiday. It was perfectly arranged, someone was always waiting for us to bring us or pick us up and apart from a delay with the boat :) everything went well. The accommodations were very nice and located in beautiful places. The travel advice was very good. In short, thank you very much for organizing this island trip!
We started in Santorini in the very nice Andreas Hotel, located in a very nice town on a quiet street and close to a beautiful beach. We had been warned about the crowds in Santorini, but in Kamari we thought it was not too bad. Of course we went to Oia and it was indeed very busy there. By the way, it was also a very nice village, so it makes sense that many tourists go there. We were very surprised by the huge old-fashioned bookstore there, we also bought some beautiful books (in English).
The hotel on Milos was a fairy tale, it was so beautiful by the sea, incredible. And although the sea is very wild, there are two parts separated by rocks where you can swim well. By the way, the children preferred the pool, because it was very windy on the sea side. And you can also lay down by the pool. There was also a very beautiful town nearby, Pollonia, but we thought it was also worth driving across the island to other places.
At Sifnos we had a rental car as well, but we didn't like it as much as Milos. We didn't walk there because of the heat. The hotel was a bit simpler, nice in itself but without a pool, but the sea was also nearby and you could also relax at the pool bar at 7Seas (even free).
After all, we only spent one day in Athens, but we were also able to spend it well. In the morning we were on the Acropolis, which I found very impressive. No idea it would be so big. In the afternoon we did the bike tour, which we also really enjoyed. Pan showed us and told us some very nice things, it was a really original way to learn more about Athens.
In short, it was a very successful holiday, thank you very much!
Best regards,
Ingrid
