We had a great time, thank you. Despite the harsh winter and heavy rains that ravaged Crete, the roads, including those in the mountains, were in good condition.
In terms of temperature, it wasn't too bad, with some rain, especially in the early days. The three coastal towns each had their own character and charm. Mirtos for pleasure, Frangokastello: beautiful view of the sea and mountains from the accommodation and a quiet village, Sougia: a little more touristy but still quite peaceful.

We only found the beds in Mirtos to be a little hard.

We went on many excursions and enjoyed the hospitality and healthy cuisine of Crete.
