We had a wonderful holiday.
Everything was well organised, apart from a minor misunderstanding regarding our booking at the Sofia Hotel, which was easily resolved in the morning.
The accommodation was good and the people were very friendly.
The rentalcar was fine.

In Mirtos, we were able to have breakfast (very generous) at Vila Kastro for €8.50 per person per day. But considering what was on offer, it was good value for money.
There was also plenty of choice for breakfast, lunch and dinner in the surrounding area.

The sightseeing suggestions were a welcome basis for exploring Crete further.

Your advice to stay in Heraklion for the first night was a good start. The beds at the Sofia Hotel could be a little softer.

Our Greek is still below average, so we can't read a map quickly while driving. In 99% of cases, we were able to make good use of the Google maps on our phone.

In some situations, things did not go very well, probably due to a lack of coverage, but this was quickly corrected. I recommend others to use this feature with the road map at hand.

It might be useful to indicate what time guests are expected at the various accommodations or what times staff are available. Only at Anna Apartments was there no one there upon arrival, but an envelope with the key was hanging on the door.

In short, a well-organised holiday in good accommodation at a reasonable price.

We will probably return to Crete, and we will probably contact you again.
