We had a wonderful, active holiday in Crete

We had a wonderful, active holiday in Crete. The apartments we booked were very good. It was also great that we were met at Heraklion Airport by someone from the carrental company. That saved us a lot of searching around. Staying on the south side of Crete was wonderful. Pleasantly busy, but not too busy. Paleochora was a lovely town with a good variety of restaurants and shops. Although the apartment was within walking distance of everything, we went on several trips, including of course the Samaria Gorge. Impressive and exhausting, but definitely worth it. We enjoyed the beautiful views, nature, lovely beaches and delicious cuisine. It was a great holiday, also for our children aged 17 and 20. We were delighted to have a good car at our disposal, a Fiat Tipo. Everything was well organised, we had no problems whatsoever. We will definitely recommend you.
